Finnr
Smelting or melting? Smelting is the process of extracting iron from raw ore in a bloomery or furnace. Melting on the other hand is getting stuff hot on a cast iron pot if it happens to be something like lead or pewter. Finnr
Bentiron1946
There have been a fair amount of requests for information on the smelting of iron ore so if you do a search you should be able to find the threads about the subject. The Rockbridge Bloomery
