Hey Everyone! I am a college student working on a entrepreneurship project. For my project I have to come up with a business idea and test out my hypothesis in some way. I am doing a test by sending out a survey to collect data. Here is my business idea:

This survey aims to collect information about possible interest in a new online store for hobbyists who specialize in metalwork, woodwork, and leatherwork. This new store will be a multi-vendor marketplace, meaning that users have the ability to sign up and both sell and buy products on this store. The goal for this market place is to offer a platform for this more focused group of craftsmen(Metalworkers, woodworker, and leatherworkers), so expected products will include welding projects(Small/large statues, other decorations, etc.) other metal projects(Knives and edged weapons, forging projects, certain jewelry) wood work projects(Furniture of all types, decorations, and various other products) and leather products(Wallets, belts, bags, certain jewelry, and other decorations). Not only will this platform sell products, but we also hope to sell appropriate metal, wood, and leather working tools as well as various raw materials options, like wood, metal stock, and raw leather.
Another aim for this platform is to have built in forums that will give the users the ability to communicate with one another, exchanging ideas and advice about products and about the various hobbies. Not only will communication be possible, but users will have the option to negotiate the price on certain products, offering trades, offers, and counter-offers.

If you decide to fill it out, I would really appreciate it! This market may be quite niche, but there is a lot of interest in such products. Also, the idea of selling materials and tools for creating products is very good, as many hobbyists are looking for specialized materials for their projects. Please write in more detail, how is your project going? Also, what was possible to implement, and what was not? I am currently doing a similar project and it is important for me to know the nuances.
