happycat Posted October 23, 2008 Share Posted October 23, 2008 Hi all. I'm new here but look forward to becoming a regular as this is exactly what I've been looking for. I'm primarily a bladesmith, and have been over on Bladeforums since '99 or so. I've been making knives since '97, and forging them since '02. I learned much of my craft through BF. Only in the last year have I become more interested in doing more "Blacksmithy" stuff. I look forward to learning and sharing here. I'm also hoping to hook up with some local folks here in New York's Southern Tier and maybe get some mini hammer in's going. I live in Windsor NY, about 15 min. east of Binghamton, so if any of you are near by, I'd love to hear from you. Maybe we can get together and pound on some steel...
