Can anyone help me identify and date this anvil. I can not find a makers mark on it anywhere but it does have the weight 165lbs and serial# I believe says A155022. I believe it may be a Trenton or a Columbus forge and iron? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. 

Dust the sides with flour and see if any markings show up.  Sometimes very hard to see without help.

The Trenton's had the logo on the side not pictured, with the horn pointed to the right. From the serial number, I'm going to say Trenton. There is a Trenton list in anvils by brand, might go through it and see a serial number close to yours.

 

I can't control the wind, all I can do is adjust my sails.
