David O
Does anyone know much about anvils that have TB & Co plus SOHO and a crown symbol? Think this belonged to my great grandfather and curious to hear if these were common?
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
Welcome from the Ozark mountains. Whether they are common or not depends greatly on where in the world you are located. They may be common in Westminster SOHO region of England but not so much in Tasmania or Greece etc. Pictures of both sides, front under horn and rear under heel along with the underside of the base would be a big help in identifying your anvil. Without them it's only a guess. I have heard of & seen pictures of anvils made by Peter Wright and called the SOHO pattern anvil.
