When I first started I had no idea if I would enjoy it, or if I would even be able to make a useable knife. Now that it's done I'm struggling to describe the joy and satisfaction that I felt holding the finished product and knowing that it had been made by my own two hands. I would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone on this forum. I havent posted very much, but I have been reading for months and I wouldnt have been able to do this without your insight and knowledge.
December 30, 20205 yr Nice work. There is something special about having something that did not exist before you set your hand and mind to create it. Also, it is a minor form of immortality. Many of the things we create will be around long after we are gone. "By hammer and hand all arts do stand."
