Need info

Want to find out information on this. From what I’m reading it might be a German made Trenton 117#. Just wondering how to figure out the age of the thing. I bought it at an auction in West Virginia today. That was a fun time, first time ever at an auction. I can see how addictive it could be. My wonderful wife was egging me on to buy it. Running off at the mouth sorry. So back to it. How do I figure out the age. There are no serial numbers on the front foot under the horn. The only thing on it is the logo “Trenton “ and solid wrought underneath that. The base underneath is flat.
