Rhino Anvils

Featured Replies

Looking at buying a new anvil.  Anyone know anything about the Rhino anvils? I'm looking at the 260 lb one.

I saw them at ABANA last summer and was really impressed for the price. They are hard and have a tremendous rebound. I really like the configuration

.I don't think you would disappointed.

The Rhino anvil is a very good anvil, good steel, good dimensions, I like the round horn, and the price is more than fair.  I have used them, and was going to purchase one but ended up getting a 160 year old Peter Wright for free.  I still have my eyes on a Rhino, but other things have to come first.

Thanks. Got a friend who has one and he likes it. Just never really heard of them until he got his.

I Have the 'Papa Rhino'. Great anvil all around. Steve was easy to work with. I would recommend getting the cone/saddle/ball hardie too as the horn doesn't come to a point.

I have a friend who forges on one. Much like myself, he appreciated local craftsmanship and lives close to where they are made. After walking through the facility and talking with them, he decided to buy one and hasn't regretted it. If I was in the market for a new one, I would probably buy the Papa Rhino also.
