Are you differentially hardening to avoid stress risers? When I first started making them I used salt water after cracking a few of them I switched to oil. Haven't really had any problems. I normally leave my edges thicker to help prevent warps and cracks. Trying to add another picture messed it up first time around. The knife with the buckeye burl sold to one of my coworkers so I only have a couple of pictures.
