December 24, 200718 yr I found some here, seems pretty inexpensive. Anyone ever use it? any recomendations? Thanks Merry Christmas.CERAMIC SPUN BLANKET 1"- 8LB/FT3 or 128KG/M3 at McGills Warehouse
December 24, 200718 yr what for? kaolwool has always worked wonders, and most of my gass furnaces are lined in it. cut it extra long, and pack it in tight.. If you plan on using it in a welding furnace, coat it in a masonary refractory to avoid melting it from the flux and molten steel. merry christmas!
December 24, 200718 yr That probably is Kaowool or a spin off. Thats the same description as McMaster Carr with no mention of the Kaowool name. When I ordered it it came in a Kaowool Box. If the price is for 1"x2'x25' thats a good price. John
December 24, 200718 yr Temperatures a little too low to work much above orange so sorry no good for a welding forge
