October 4, 201510 yr A few Pictures of the Fall meet of the New England Blacksmiths at Kevin Mulhollands Farm & Forge in Wallingford, VT White Tent is the green Coal tent which was busy 3 days and evenings by all ages, I know there was a 12 yr. young man who worked non stop all three days. Instructors were on hand to assist. Some of the forges and anvils and tools had been hauled down from Portland, Maine a long haul. People from all the 6 NE states plus a number from NY (only 25 miles from the border) 3 from Brooklyn I'm told and one from Kentucky!! It was a grand time, super meals including a pot luck one on Fri evening. The Mulholland family were great hosts, Thanks to them and the entire NEB committee and officers.Can't figure out how to label each picture and had hoped others would have posted by now with better pic.s There was a casting demo I didn't get pictures of, I'm bad! About 125 people were present to watch Rory May from Colorado Demonstrate along with Farrier Mark Schneider from Rutland, VT.
