Brochure from Massey Hammers regarding different ways to seal around the anvil to prevent scale (and water) from getting underneath the anvil. Especially important if you use a foundation mat rather than timber under the anvil.

Can be applied to any hammer with separate anvil, I based my Alldays and Onions 3cwt installation on this.
