I was just cruzing CL and found a listing for an estate sale in WV. I won't say which town/city it is under out of respect for anyone that already had plans to attend, but it starts with the letter "M." Anyway there is a pic of many anvils, swage blocks, and how knows what else all dumped in a big pile next to a big pile of "scrap iron." The way the posting is worded it's not clear to me that they know what a swage block is and I'm all sick to my stomach with the idea that they'll be sold as scrap unless they're sold to scrapper and not a smith...I'm just asking that anyone who can go, does go and saves anything they can! The only limiting factor for most of us is the distance it is from home. I am sure some locals(within 250 miles) will have a great time. Scrappers will not get the good iron.
