January 19, 201412 yr The blade is the first I ever forged. Forged from an old lawnmowerblade. It holds a great edge. The handle is japanese cherry, a leather spacer and the bolster is a piece of teak(from an old bedpost). Sheath is made from some scrap leather and handstitched with waxed cotton thread. It has been sitting in a box for a couple of years so we (wife and I) used it as a christmas present for a family member.
