December 26, 201312 yr Hi guys, long time lurker, I've been intent on building a forge for the past few years, but could never justify the cost. My wife, being the amazing woman that she is, bought me more or less all of the supplies I need to get this project off the ground for Christmas. She based everything off of this video, so those are the materials I have:

Welcome to the forum I've seen pretty much everywhere that one or two 3/4" is standard for that size forge (which I figure is about 550 cubic inches), but as long as a burner double that diameter will work then I'll be happy. Would I be ripping through the fuel or have a hard time controlling temps with one that size?
