I will weigh it tonight but assume 50lbs about.
Broomhead
Where are you located? I'd be interested if you're close enough for a pick up. I probably can't afford the shipping though.

Shanemr
Also I'm not giving it away lol. I see pieces half this size on ebay for around $40-50 but to get someone going on a budget $60 is good. Also if curious Anvilfire has some great plans on using track as an anvil. itsme
I buy salvage rail that #37 for $10 a foot. You should check your local salvage yard
Shanemr
I did I was told it's illegal to scrap rail so I didn't keep looking at scrap yards. I still see people selling it on ebay and sometimes locally on craigslist. I figure if it doesn't sell I'll find a use for it.
Broomhead
Alas, I will have to pass. You are too far away as I am in middle Tennessee.
Bentiron1946
If anyone in the Phoenix Metro Area is looking for a section of rail I have a section of trolly rail that is available for free. Local pick up only, of course you have to pick it up as my back will not allow me to do that kind of lifting any more. It is big enough for two RR anvils. This rail is from the old Phoenix trolly system that was dismantled after WWII. Send me a PM and I will give you directions.
