Frank Turley
In the 1960's, I worked with a farrier name of Tex Shively (RIP), Tex was a good ol' boy but kind of rough around the edges in terms of bad, raucous jokes and language. One day, he was going to show me a forge method, and before he did, he mentioned the man from whom he learned it. Tex said, "I always say the name of the man who taught me a technique. It's like saying 'thank you' to him all over again." Hearing that from Tex kind of blew me away. Too often, we forget to give full credit, either in person or over the net.
