September 25, 201213 yr Hello, I've made a few posts and wanted to introduce myself. I live in Missouri and have a small shop set up in my backyard. I started this addiction buy buying blade blanks and putting handles on them. Then I moved up to building switchblades from parts I ordered online. Still bored I decided to make my own knives instead of just assembling them. It has taken me over a year and I am finally set up and pounding out my own knives. I made and sold several knives to pay for the tools and now I'm starting to make knives that I plan on keeping for myself. I can't help but wonder what this hobby would have been like 20 years ago without the internet to get the info you need to get started. Heres my shop its small and everything in it has burn marks on it.
September 25, 201213 yr Nice set up there Tod. Does that cedar stump keep the shop smelling fresh? :P Welcome aboard.
