julian1 Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 Hi all, I'm going to be visiting Toronto for 2 months this summer and am looking for anyone who might have a setup with whom I can do some work. I've been forging since 2003 and have extensive experience in bladesmithing particularly, however I am a fairly good artisan blacksmith as well. This is a new account, but folks on here like glenn, JJ, Dodge, trying-it, rich hale, etc. can all vouch for me :) I'd be happy to pay for overhead/materials/etc and keep out of your way if you have a professional setup (that's what I'm currently doing), but if you're a hobbyist perhaps we can just trade a few secrets, drink a few beers, and have fun! I searched online and cannot find any major/professional shops in the city but I'm assuming theres some of you folks out there who are a little lower-profile...I'll check on the local OABA site as well, but IFI is my old friend!
