July 5, 200521 yr My first Damascus billet in almost 10 years, First one in my new home, and First one on my new anvil! Not bad considering I just did my first forge weld in 10 years last week. Easier than I rember, but I was using coal back then, must be the charcoal. Gotta be the charcoal. :D
July 7, 200521 yr Author Still working the bevels and polishing, kinda slow going since my beltgrinder died, all I have is files and Japanese water stones to work with right now. After I harden and etch, pics will be forthcoming. I promise. :)
