blacksmith777
Hi, guys! I'm trying to get the linseed oil-beeswax-turpentine-Janpan drier finishing for indoor items. I used plain beeswax and linseed oil-beeswax finishing before. Now another two stuffs in my hands? THANKS for your informations!
pkrankow
I would recommend mixing up a small test batch and trying it. Modern linseed oil already have a drier in it, instead of being properly boiled, so you may not need the drier. Phil
Naz
I don't like to use japan dryer in my mix, I tried it twice and found that it got too sticky and messy trying to buff it afterwards. Thanks for the info about modern linseed oil already having a drier in it Phil, that may be the reason I was having problems.(or my ratio was too strong) Anyways I have beter results without it. son_of_bluegrass
You can still get raw linseed oil without the dries. The boiled linseed oil does have driers in it already. ron
