August 3, 201114 yr This may sound like a dumb question to some of you guys but here goes Say Im going to spray off dust/grease from a little giant is their any areas (other than the motor of course) that I would want to stay away from or be careful with? Clutch area? etc...Thanks for any help ;)
August 3, 201114 yr No,....If you have grease zerks on the main bearings pump grease until it forces out any water, otherwise no worries...
August 3, 201114 yr If you can put a plug in the cup on top of the main bearings if you don't zerk fittings. My old 25# had wooden clutch block and they may swell a bit. If you have compressed air just blow it off after power washing to get the excess water off. I guess you are either getting ready to rebuild it or repaint it.
August 3, 201114 yr Author Honestly Im not sure about grease zerks. The hammer is a 25# transitional..I havent actually seen it yet.
