July 27, 201114 yr got this old gear box/grinder(15 to 1) for $8 at a flea market added a ?found handle,cut up a 20l paint tin used 2 locking lids,made up paddles using paint tin and scrap ally angle,made air flange out of bean tin,hand full of pop rivets 2hrs and it works great.i already have a propper hand blower i might sell it now it cost alot more than this(less than $10) thanks for looking mat.
July 27, 201114 yr Now that's inginuity!! Gotta say that I have seen a blower made from wood, but never one made from paint cans. Good job. As long as it gets the job done, that's what counts. :D
July 27, 201114 yr Most homemade blowers I've seen, including the one I made when I first started smithing, have been crude and not very effective. Yours, however, is pretty slick. Nice work.
