I'd like to take the time to say hello. My name is jake, im almost 21 and ive been a welder/fabricator for about 4 years. Ive been a apprentice/fabricator/jakey on the spot at one shop for amost 2 years. Its call Fineilli orimental iron works. we do railing and other high end custom work. and in my spare time i putter around my shop at my house but right on im running low on space and waiting for a shed.

proudwhitetrash, welcome! Do you have a forge or heat source of some type yet? I started in a universal shop. I was standing out in the open air universe (outside). You may consider creating an open air shop that you could cover with a tarp after you work, just to start with until you build a shed. I did, and I know several people who do this to this day. It would at least get you started. Good Luck!
