RH Clark Posted February 23, 2010 Share Posted February 23, 2010 Hello,I am a new bladesmith in the making.I've always loved working with my hands and everything having to do with knives.I started out last year by making about a dozen hidden tang knives with pre made blades.I was lucky enough to meet a local full time bladesmith who has basically taken me under wing.My new friend has let me work in his shop about 3 days a week for the last 3 months.I have forged a few blades and assembled a couple hidden tang hunters with my own blades. I am in the process of getting tools and a shop.I look forward to getting to know some of you and maby even metting some of the locals. 781 Posted February 24, 2010 Share Posted February 24, 2010 Welcome to the group Try checking out Batson's conference at Tannahill State park I think it is April 9-11 I have a conflick and cant make the drive this year from Minnesota.Always had a great time there in the past.
