December 23, 200916 yr Author thanks guys, the vise seems to work very well, all parts were machined and welded, my apprentice did all the bead blasting he will be making knives in the new year lol, beats video games.

January 5, 201016 yr I don't have a problem with video games (seeing how I may make my living off of making them) but I must admit that making knives is far more educational, intuitive, creative, and entertaining than any simulation ever could be.
January 5, 201016 yr Very pretty. That looks like an excellent performing vise. Video games may be over rated, but many of us do enjoy them. Hands on productive time is better than time spent in front of a video display. Phil
