Donnie
You're off to a good start. Be advised, making sharp, pointy things, gets very addictive. There is no known cure.
Hacal
i have made some more and sold all of the railroad spike ones on ebay.
Christopher P.
You're off to an excellent start. It appears you've either fallen in love with a curved blade, or haven't figured out how to pre-bend yet. If you want your blades straight, then you need to forge a downward curve before hammering in your bevels - then the blade will come out straighter... and opens up a lot more control to your work. If you like 'em like this, then please disregard. For the record, my first few blades were far worse than this. Good luck!
Ecart
NONE of my "first knives" survived. So, good job. Keep it up.
Misosuriknifesmith
These are some of the knives I have made from High Carbon RR. The wire rope handle is very cool. I also make wood boxes for them.
