Sam Salvati
Plain and simple knife, CPM154 blade (which I will send out to be properly HT'd), walnut handle with a blackened steel spacer, tried a new thing to blacken it which I like alot, really get's a nice thick BLACK. Once I have found someone able to do the 154, i'll put it all together. The fit is nice, as the tapered tang goes into the handle it flares and expands the wood in the steel spacer making a wedge fit, very very tight. markb
Good job, interesting blade shape, I bet 154 wasn't the easiest to forge?
Sam Salvati
No hehe as I was told it's not really for forging, but i wanted to see if it was atleast possible, it forged OK, easier than 52100.

Sam Salvati
Bent, no not for disembowling, this one will be used in the kitchen. Stan, thanks for the offer! Peter's in PA is real close to me so i'll probably send it to them, or see if I can stick it on another person's batch. What do you use for HT'ing yours? do you have a length restriction ?
