oakwoodforge Posted June 23, 2006 Author Share Posted June 23, 2006 Ellen , the blade has a distal taper.Right in front of the handle, the thickest part measures 0.215 inches thick, midway down the blade the spine measures 0.161 inches, and a half inch from the point it measures 0.096 and at the end of the handle it measures 0.080 inches thick.
