    Hi, I'm looking for information on blacksmiths who forged tools from the Penal times, in particular forging wafer presses to make Communion Wafers using wheat symbols and the sun at the center as they could not use religious symbols at the time. Two of these have been found in Laois. So I'm interested in tracing possible blacksmiths who were active in Laois around that time or Queens County as it was known then.
