i just found mine in a junk yard he guy gave it to me for a box of donuts its around 120-150# i just got some of the rust off and its good as new when i get a camra ill post a pic and i think it might be an old engin block but i got it in some town not on a map in PA. in 2009

how would i make an anvil stand im thinking maby just a big block of wood would work? i dont relly know much about them or what hight they should be or how big or if they need to be light or heavy. can someone help me out and maby post a few pics of their stands?

i once heard my friend telling me just take a blowtourch and cut some holes in dumpsters for some scrap but as thats illegal so i would just go to dumps sometimes they have cars their or some metal stuff and most times thier let u just take for free or a donut or two

im a begineer blacksmith i need a forge and my budget is almost all going to an anvil i dont know much about forges other then thier hot and they use coal or gas can someone help me out?

i like the stand i would have made one but i just use an old locker near my anvil for my tools

i need the weight to be around 300 so it can cover 300+ or 250+ i relly want something close to 250 or so becuase i hit alittle harder then average but 300 can cover alot of anvils so it gives me more selection

how would i go about use rosewood for the hilt cus of the softness is thier any thing difrent then useing a normal hardwood?
