I use a brake rotor for the bottom. do some fancy welding for the air and clean outs. In the bottom of a propane clynder. Works very well. I also used the same to repair my big bufflo one in the shop, Brake parts are cheap.and made out of cast. To control the fire I have a 3" x 6" cast ring around the opening to hold the heat better. I never leave my forge going while not there..While it is starting up in morning I do the prep work for the day. I I also am a wood burner, that is way different than a forge. Air tights are ment to be going all hours. When I am out of the shop so is the forge.

Everything is there but it is all the same colour. I just keep looking :roll: Don't drop everything on the floor,, its gone then dirt hides everything. Barney
