up north they get a lot of big fires that black spruce is real bad southeast is not bad but we dry out fast three weeks without rain and we are so dry we will take any rain we can get drought like yes we are not water in a lot of the holes that we get water from it is getting hard to find water to fight fire with we lived up there for 5 years I know how bad it can get Tok gets a lot of fires all the time we are going to have a bad fire here if we do not get rain soon so you got fires going now

we have been real dry here so we have been waiting for a fire and hoping for rain . we no rain but we had a brush fire today a truck started it got it out before it got a acre. but the truck did not make it . water is getting hard to find to fight fire with most of the creeks are dry now so pray for rain for us we need it

thanks for all the great help here. when we start getting rain again so I can forge just to dry here right now I will try some of the things

year I lost one last fall 16 years with me it is real hard . he was a peak but he backpack with me one summer it was great I miss him

boat only but we are going to get there this summer. have to go out that way to get a skiff we are getting to dry out some one is going to start a fire

it was 80 at 11:00 am today hot we do not get that hot most the time seam coal bay I am going to see if it is any good we are hoping no one start a fire that would be no fun Alaska

crab pot is not doing good we did get a lot more rockfish today

yeah we know it is hard to get them here but there are some so we will start looking soon well we are going to get hot here so I will be on call till we start going rain again and no forging till we get rain :mad: we are real dry here and going to get dryer still found some coal here on island want to go look at it soon see if we can use it

wow that is great

I am forging with coal and charcoal and some times wood but that day it was charcoal rail road spike I quench most the time in water for a rail road spike to get them hard and it is my stress and may have forgot something I do not think I did but ? going to be working with a lot more 5160 just got 500# of it and will go back to oil quenching then it was a hot day and I do not forge a lot on hot days

no fire dept. not much logging going now fishing is starting to go real bad to so not a lot of work no pics of town but will work on getting some

yeah do not get much time to get out of town but may soon the job I am at is not working out

it is when I am quenching and yes I am normalising thinking about it I have been just a bit stressed it may have something to do with it just may not be getting something but should have soon time to work on it

no not yet will have to go look may have some time soon
