Someone said you should sleeve the hose. If the hose is getting hot because of proximity to the forge this may be a good idea. If it is getting hot because the burner is transferring heat to it insulating with sleeving is a waste of money and a very bad idea. It will make your problem worse because the hose can’t transfer heat to the air around it.
