My boyfriend's father passed away a few months ago and we are trying to help his mom liquidate his assets. All we know about this anvil is that it was used by his grandfather, who has been gone for close to 20 years, but have no other information. I have read thread after thread and there are some very knowledgeable people on here that we hope can help us. We don't see a lot of distinguishing marks or logos, other than ECW that appears to be a stamp and the word BAR. I am enclosing pictures of all angles to see if someone here can help us with more information and possibly an estimate of it's value. We are located in West Virginia.
It is about 12.5" long, 3.25" wide and about 6.25" tall. Not sure of weight, but it is fairly heavy. Maybe in the 50lb range.
