I have a tendency to mix brass powder edit into my brazing powder. The outcome after a good heat is more or less a brass weld that the braze drew into any minute spacing between the metals. The cautious part is overheating when you get ready to finish a solid forge weld of the metals together. The brass can, and likely will, leak out onto your anvil with hammer strikes. This is easily cleaned off with a torch and a steel wire brush.
