    I also have a KL anvil and the ring is the same !!But I will do the ball bearing test . Thanx to all for info.

    Used a 300g engineering hammer and taped the anvil lightly and it bounced back to the same height with a distinctive ring.

    This anvil has no markings that we could find - Length : 680mm Face : L 410mm W 120mm Height : 320mm Hardie : 32mm pitchel : 19mm Any help would be appreciated

    Must agree looks like a K & L - the A may stand fo London Shape?? Mine is marked with K& L 100lb 45k A -- Hope this helps??
