I am not a blacksmith, I'm a heavy equipment operator by trade. Im looking to do something to occupy my time as i am recently divorced. I've got a nice large pole barn to work in. I just want a hobby that is a productive use of time and possibly make some cool stuff for my Chopper that i stretched myself. Basically i would like to say "yeah, i made that myself". Looking forward to some Hammer therapy.

100 pounds. Rebound is awesome, i think, never had an anvil before. 100 pounds......Some WD40 and a Wire wheel on my 7" grinder cleaned her up pretty well.

I picked up an Acme Anvil yesterday for $25. Markings on the base are A100 on the left and A 98273 on the right. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
