chris..amet made that rounding hammer under the big blu using the aggressive fuller dies..they are narrow and more rounded than the narrow side of the combos..as for the length of steel for the holder its really up to you..drw out a radius on the table that works for you and measure for the stock length..remember it will strech a little due to the fullering..we have several different sizes in the shop.we just used what we had.
