  1. Where are the blacksmiths in the Chicago Area

    I'm just getting into blacksmithing. I have read a few books and have watched countless YouTube videos on the subject, and I feel I am ready to get dirty and put a hammer in my hand, but I im having trouble finding any good resources around my area. Is there any meetups coming up or maybe some one with a shop that might be willing to have me around for a few days in the Chicago land area?
