  1. I will most likley be using Hardwood Lump Charcoal unless there is somthing better you guys would suggest, and im going to be making small things like hooks for now but when I get an actual anvil I would eventully like to make somthing bigger like a knife or a sword. I know swords are alot of work so im going to start small.
  2. Hello everyone! So for the past few months I have been watching alot of videos about Blacksmithing. I think its really awesome so I have decided to make my own forge. Im going to be using an old rasied fire pit for it. I have seen videos on how to make forges so i know the basic design, but i could use some tips or advice on the project. I will be removing the mesh sides and the top vent, slightly modifiying the pre existing hole in the bottom so i can hook up a blower and cutting out a piece of the front so I can easily slide metal im working into it. I will put some pictures of it up also. Any advice would be very helpfull. :) (The file upload isnt working for me so I will just post a Dropbox link) https://www.dropbox.com/sh/nzaqjcgwrpmcedi/AAAAXY-loS8Q-vJbBQiBSYDEa?dl=0 (Just realised there is a Subfourm for this, sorry for posting it here)
