  1. I just bought a 25# on Oct. 24th. It's still laying in the woods, but I only paid $300 for it. She looks like an oldie. This guy was in his 70's, a machinist and it had passed down from his father. I'll pick it up this week and see what it needs to run. I ordered The L G Power Hammer book by Kern. After reading some of these posts it may not be very helpfull but the history stuff will be good. Smartflix has Sid's DVD's so I'll rent those when I get to that point.
  2. Thanks Jayco, I really enjoy seeing everyone's work. I try to learn as muck as I can from these forums. Appreciate all the help.
  3. Hey Everybody! My name is Pat Burns and I'm new to this forum, just joined today. I have a coal forge and a gas forge, 167# anvil and doing mostly bladesmith work. A hydraulic press is next on my list of tools to build as is a small power or air hammer. My wife and I live in southern middle Tennessee. We moved from the big city of Milwaukee, WI to our place in the country. Pat
