Hello all! My name is Derrick, and I have recently gotten into blacksmithing (wow, kinda sounds like an AA meeting intro huh? lol) I am 30 years old, live in Princeton, IN, and am a barebones beginner. I have built my first forge from an upturned lawnmower deck, a rather large brake rotor, some metal tubing from an old decrepit boat trailer for the legs, and a Buffalo Forge Company forge blower from 1919. I have an old Mousehole Forge 175 lbs anvil from 1817. I am still learning the basics, so ANY tips are greatly appreciated as i am never gonna turn down criticism.
