    I never could understand why anyone wanted to press flies; flowers and leaves maybe.... It looks like just a clamping jig of some sort. Does it have a double thread on the screw? I see the fast acme thread, a fly press would have a fine thread on the outiside surface of the screw. I can't tell from the picture.
