if you are able to master decent welds with the o/a torch and a filler rod, then you are well on the way to mastering any other method of welding! and, you will have a better appreciation for TIG welding technology. there is a reason why many welding courses start with gas welding! Andy

I don't think I am talented enough to even comment properly on your breathtaking work! First class for sure, and certainly world class. Thanks for sharing Andy

Awesome!!!You are a true artist!!! I am a pretty good, experienced welder, with access to lots of good "junk" metal, but it takes pure talent to do what you do with the tools and the metal So, I reckon my feedback is on the positive end of the spectrum! Thank you, Andy

Hello everyone, Andy from Wisconsin checking in! I am about as new as a newbie can be!! Looking forward to being a part of this forum, although I don't have a whole lot to offer--who knows, maybe I will be able to share some good information at some point. familiar with welding and light fabrication. Thanks in advance for all of the good knowledge to come my way!!!
downdraft welding table

Hey toolgypsy, if you find out any good info on a design for a down-draft welding table, I would love it if you would share--I have a nice table already built, my table was intended for welding/cutting/grinding---all of which would benefit the operator with a decent downdraft system.I have a couple pretty good designs for the cutting part of the table that I would be glad to pass along, although there are many other sharper knives in this collective drawer!!! Thanks, Andy
