  1. 655C is the only bronze that should be forged with health in mind. The lead content as noted above is about .2%-.5%. Any other bronzes will have higher lead count in them. As noted above as well, Even a propane barbque will melt this bronze into a hott puddle on the floor of your forge. Orange is way too hot. If it gets this hot let it cool to dark red before attempting to blink. I tried working 2 pieces in the propane forge and found that I did not feel like a PRO, but did feel the PANE. One at a time! I just bought 5/8" round and it is about $11 a foot.
  2. Just like a real jelly fish, it would probably hurt to step on this! Nice work...looking forward to seeing it done!
  3. Here is a light I finished not too long ago. It was designed and built with the north in mind. I have spent a lot of my time in the north of Canada and define it in my own mind as the pine trees and the northern lights which I have tried to capture in this lamp. It is 28" high. Enjoy!
  4. Very Nice. Preserving the efforts of the initial fabrication of a product while converting it into something cool has always been a great achievement! Keep up the effort!
  5. HEllo to all. Check out my website to see what I do. I hope you enjoy it! Scott
