  1. Thanks for the advice. Experience is something I don't have, it is good to hear from someone who has plenty. I will stick with the hammer and anvil.
  2. I am located in Westford Vermont. What I am looking to make is a 2" framing chisel about 12 inches long. If I had a swage block of the shape, I thought I could make several and sell some of them. With a swage block I could have a consistent design.
  3. Does anyone know of someone who makes swage blocks? I am looking to make some chisels and would like a swage block with a few chisel shapes in it. Maybe someone with a backyard foundry?
