This guy is a friend of Clay Spencer and he makes and sells a lot Tire Hammer components to Clay's specs. He gave me the prices and they seem very reasonable. the drive wheel is $40, the spring is $30, the arms are about $140, and the lead weight is around $7. I plan to buy these from him because he uses the same jigs as Clay Spencer so I know the parts will be better than my own products.

  2. I tried one out recently and liked it. As mentioned before, it's a single blow hammer not a power hammer. It has a strikes a strong blow and has a really tall stroke. The price is nice as well. That being said, you have to step down on the throttle for every hit. Go to their website and watch the demo videos.

  3. Does anyone have advice on where to an instruction book or online tutorial for wiring electric motors? I have a 5 hp 3450 motor from Tractor Supply and need a parts list for the starter as well as a little how-to. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

  4. Get in touch with the Blacksmith Supply. The Euroanvil is great. Those guys at Oak Hill Iron/Big Blu use them. If Euroanvils are good enough for for them, they're good enough for anyone. I guess there's not the bragging rights you would get with the more expensive anvils because Nimba, RatHole, Tom Clarks, etc. are given more TLC before you get them. As someone said earlier, you have to finish it to your liking. So, if your like me and respect the more expensive anvils but don't have and/or want to spend the money, buy the Euro. Great anvil, unbeatable price.
