I would have said mate making it into a nice sledge, seems like a peice of steel that size could be made into alot more than a couple of smaller hammers. Thomaspowers has the right idea with a cone mandrel

Got to love the tooling up your doing. Ive got a large swage block myself but i find it gets used as a large door stop move than anything :D

Daniel.C.85 yeah i got them off his website because there a little unique, i bought a pair of the tusk tongs shown above awhile back and they have proven to be some of my best tongs, they have so many applications.

Hi Guys, i am doing a project on unique tongs and different varations on classic tongs. If you have any unique tongs or know where i can get some good materail please post it. I am going to try and post as many unique types i can find for people just intrested.
