Yes now that I had some time to research it, it is indeed missing some important parts. I dont think I will find them either. Well its probably to heavy to ship so I dont think Ill put it on Ebay. Not sure if id get any bites on craigslist. There not all to hard to find around here. Pole vises that is. It would be nice to find a chain vise around here though. Not sure what to do with it. Any suggestions???

Lets try this.

You have to post/upload the picture to an online repository like photobucket.com and then post a link to it on that site. Can't just post it from your computer.
Dont get it. Ive done it here before? -
This guy sent me these pics with no other info. Thought someone would ID it with the embossed "100" on the back foot. If you know what it is let me know. Thanks. looking to purchase it.
Sorry pic didn't come out. I'm working on it. -

Post a wanted add on Craigslist and post it in cities other than yours. You wont believe how many are still out there and people think no body wants them. Here in Pa. I bought three in the last week. You dont want to know what I paid, you'll cry. Also go on auctionzip.com and put your zip and keyword "anvil" and it will show all the auctions in your area with anvils. Good luck.
Now Im on the hunt for a small forge :) -
Got this the other day after I just purchased one. Could'nt pass it up .50 a lb think its about 200lbs the only mark I see is a "8" on the side of the anvil nothing else is visable. I only wanted one but I guess I'm a collector now. Im purchasing the Anvils in America but havent got it yet. If you have any ideas what it is let me know. Oh yea the guy said it was his grandfathers who brought it over from Europe, I think England, when he first came to this country. Pretty heavy to bring over if you ask me?

You forgot some good pics of the face and working edges.
The heel is mushroomed sideways...odd. That will need ground to clean up. Otherwise put some use on it before you go crazy trying to fix or grind on it.
The anvil was used for repointing tools, and they tested them in the soft side of the anvil. This is pretty common and does look ugly but doesn't do any real harm.
Phil
Like I said a little ugly.

Ok they lied about the max photo size I had to shrink them even more. The only id I see is aletter "P" on the back edge of the anvil. And I do see a couple old colors of paint on the side. If theres a place i should be looking, let me know I'll look harder. So to all you experts, is this a Soderfors???
